The Iron County LWCD produces an ANNUAL REPORT which includes a summary of the fiscal administration, technical assistance provided, cost-share projects, Native Plant Sales & scholarship updates, education accomplishments, and more. Contact the LCD to recieve a copy.
Iron County Land and Water Resource Management Plan
Iron County revised it’s LWRM Plan in 2009. The plan was adopted by the Iron County Board on January 26, 2010, and by the Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Board on February 2, 2010. This plan provides an overview of the county’s natural resources, related maps, citizen-based goals, activities designed to protect & improve natural resources, and a detailed workplan to guide the department’s focus through 2014. These documents contain numerous graphics, pictures, and images and are very large. We have listed them in sections for your convenience but some may still take a couple minutes to download.
